I have a Huawei H868C - if someone sends me a text that is more than one page, I get "enhanced message not transated" for the first page of the text and I get the 2nd page fine.

As regards the ringtones, have you just put the volume down, as I did this unintentionally and couldn't hear the ringtones until my son turned the volume back up for me - by pressing the up button while ringtone is playing.

Most cariers only allow 160 charcters per message including spaces. So if the message is sent to someone outside of your network only the first 160 charcters will be sent.

my wife (it was her phone) had the same problem (noted above, 5/18) we tried rebooting the phone. nothing. we tried taking the battery out and starting it up again. nothing. we even tried *228 to reprogram the phone and update it. still nothing!

so she called Verizon support, and after being transferred to tier 2 support "they reset something on their end" and it was fixed. Not sure what she did with the phone to fix it, or what they did on their end. but after she got off the phone with them it was fixed. hope this works for everyone else.

Hey, I just bought the same phone from ebay, and it was preflashed for cricket too. My phone had the same exact problem. I called cricket technical support at 1-800-274-2538 and they refreshed my flashing while i was on the phone with them. As soon as I got off the phone with them my phone worked perfectly.
