First of all you need to be draining the tub completely and removing any bath mats or items from inside. Fill the tub with hot water, ensuring that the jets are covered. You can use white vinegar, 2-3 cups of white vinegar directly to the water in the tub. Turn on the whirlpool system and run it for 15-20 minutes. While the jets are running, use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the jet openings and the interior walls of the tub. Drain the Tub: Refill the tub with clean water and run the jets again for another 10-15 minutes to rinse out any remaining cleaning solution. This should help. This is what I did with mine

SOURCE: How can I unclog plumbing in whirlpool tub used to clean dogs?

Depending on how mechanically inclined you are, take apart the tub and clean everything out. No easy task, I know, but who want old dog hair floating around? That will be your best bet.

SOURCE: cleaning a whirlpool tub

The jets turn yellow from exposure to the sun, not much you can do except replace the jets (costly). What is leaking? if you broke the seal on a jet it will leak and have to be resealed.

Can I clean my bath tub with muriatic acid

You can utilize the grating idea of muriatic Acid - a typical mineral acid - to free your bath of rust stains. Muriatic acid is accessible from your nearby home improvement shop and should be dealt with cautiously as it is quite caustic.

CLEANED SYSTEM WITH VINIGAR,SERVICE LIGHT STILL COMES ON

Theres usually a reset button after you do cleaning for salt chlorinators, reset that.
  • Otherwise if you can see any calcium still clean it again with vinegar possible longer times or multiple times, its a mild calcium remover.
  • You can use muriatic acid mixed with 4 parts water to remove everything, but dont let it touch any metal, just make sure to take proper precautions with it, and read/follow labels.

How do you clean the jets in a whirlpool tub? Is there any product to put in water and run jets to clean them?

Put white vinegar in the water and run it through your tub. Fill the tub to it's maximum running capacity, which is normally just above the jets, and pour a gallon of vinegar in the water with it. Let it run with the vinegar for about 20 minutes, then turn it off and let the vinegar sit in the jets for about 30 minutes. Then start up the jets again for about another 10 minutes and drain. Then run plan water through the jets for about 15 minutes, drain and that should do it. I would recommend doing this at least once every 2 months depending on your water type and how often you use the tub.

HOW DO I CLEAN THIS COFFEE POT

I suggest you use vinegar acid.

You need a solution with half part water and half part vinegar acid.

1) pour 4 cups of water into your coffee machines water tank.

2) pour 4 cups of vinegar acid into your coffee machines water tank.

3) turn on your coffee machine to decalc.

4) refill tank with clean cold water and let it run through ( 2 times)

REMEMBER !!! ALWAYS POUR ACID into WATER !!!! AND NOT THE OPPOSITE !!!
If you pour water into acid it can explode and make terrible damages and cause chemical burns!!!

Hope this will help ypu

I need to acid wash my grids. What is the ratio for acid and water?

Why not try white vinegar and water first, 50/50 mix. White vinegar is a mild acid, and it is a lot safer to use than acid. If you are going to use Muriatic acid ( "mild" version of Hydrochloric acid), then a good ratio is 1 part acid to 20 parts water. And Always add the acid to the water. You could make a stronger solution, 1part acid to 10 parts water, if needed. But be cautious with any ratio. Follow container directions. Wear eye protection ( an absolute must). Wear gloves, etc. This is dangerous stuff, and you can buy it at Home Depot or Lowes!
