SOURCE: replacement battery for a Vector # VEC137R flashlight

You can order it from Black and Decker, Vector sold all their product lines to them in 2006 and they carry the replacement battery cheaper than anywhere else I found.

Why wont my black and decker ultra bright spotlight stay on for more then 10 minutes ?

The batteries are probably no good or your charger is bad. But I say the batteries themselves are bad. All batteries will only last so long. And it also depends how often they are keep charged and discharged. Basically all batteries require some kind of maintenance (recharging / discharging).

Spot light is unable to recharge with the wall

While it could be the battery, it could also be the internal charger in the spotlight. When you plug it in, it bypasses the charger and uses the connected power. However, it is likely just a bad battery. The batteries only last 3 years in an ideal setting and since these lights are typically only used certain times of the year, the batteries discharge and go bad. Dead battery

It depends on what voltage the internal battery is. If it's a 6 volt, the charging voltage will be a little higher, close to 6.5 to 7 volts. Most of these spotlights are 6 volt.
