My Blood pressure is around 135 SYD 75 DIA 65 Pulse Is this a good and safe reading

64 is a good pulse, or heart rate if you are at rest. Your blood pressure seems low, but that may be a false indicator. Why? Because everyone wants to beat hypertension by lowering the blood pressure, however, dehydration can thicken yhe blood and cause a false low reading so someone could have low BP readings and still have hypertension.

The answer? If you had your 40 ounces of water today, and other beverages, and stayed normal on salt intake, you still have very low blood pressure.

It's not bad, but you should recheck it several times a day for a few days because if your other readings are higher, you're well defined as fine.

But, if those readings are the highest and the rest are lower, I'd suggest you seek medical counsel on the matter as those numbers are low unless you are very athletic.

I am thinking what they meant to say was that your blood pressure is 132 over 75 and your pulse is 75. Blood pressure has two readings, a high and a low one. If this is the case, your blood pressure is fine and your heart rate (the number of times your heart beats per minute) is also fine!

Much easier to go to a store, like Walgreens and get an inexpensive ( like 15 dollars) automatic wrist cuff blood pressure monitor, that will give you accurate and quick readings of your heart rate, and blood pressure, systolic and diastolic, automatically.

E appeared because the monitor was not able to read his blood pressure. I have the same problem myself if I take my blood pressure after sitting down for a while because my pulse rate is 40 beats per minute and the monitor is set to expect a higher reading. If his pulse rate is too low the monitor thinks it's not reading it properly.

It could also be unable to read his blood pressure because the sensor was not pressed against his pulse. Try moving it around a little. Also it's a good idea to check the monitor on a second person as there could be a fault in the monitor itself.

If you don't have highly accurate static pressure meter and BPM simulator you are not able to fully test the accuracy of a BPM. However, the simple way to test it is use the same human body to compare the Dia. & Sys. result you got from this walgreen mahine and the traditional manual mercury type BPM.

I bought a wristech blood pression monitor its not working IT takes my blood pression very low. 74/64. I know my blood pression isnn't that low, is there something wrong with this monitor. Deb
