I bought (2) Leslie 705? 3 channel speakers a couple of years ago. I recently bought a Lowery Prestige organ too. I was wondering if there was any way of connecting the Leslies to this organ.

As the old organ tech saying goes, you can attach a Leslie to anything! I couldn't find an online manual for the Prestige, but I would suggest finding the nearest experienced tech in your area to do the job. If there are non you are available, follow the link below to the Musical Instrument Technician's Association page for a directory.

SOURCE: Warrenty

If it was fitted by an installer after July 1st 2007, then it's covered under warranty for 3 yrs, but if it was purchased then installed by you I'm afraid it's only one year :(

Having said that, if you are sure that the speaker blow due to faulty manufacture, Focal has a really good PR relationship with focal dealerships, and you could ask for the Focal representitive to inspect the midrange.

It's a bit of a long shot, however being Focal they like to keep the excellent reputation they have intact, and I've been able to replace a pair of Focal tweeters in the past (due to faulty manufacture) even thought they were almost 3 years old.

Unless things have changed somewhat over the last few years, they should still have a subjective approach to their warranty claims...

Well....here's hoping anyways!!!

SOURCE: Speaker problem

Don't know if you've solved this yet but just in case ...
There is nothing to install with loudspeakers - they are independent devices and have nothing to do with your computer.
Check the little lights. There should be one on the back of the subwoofer (by the power switch) and one underneath each of the satellites. If you haven't got the lights under the satellites then you probably have a faulty subwoofer. Check thought that your connections are solid.  Remember the two satellites' connectors are keyed and may not be fully home, rotate them slightly until they click completely in.
Theses are excellent speakers and should be deafeningly loud.

Well Durabrand is a walmart brand but fry's sales these external batteries that will hold alot more play time then it would to replace this for a new battery. And the cost is $49.00. You will get extended play time for the fraction of the cost of replacment batteries!! I hope this does help you out.

SOURCE: Lowery Tube Organ needs a tube

The "F" key contact is probably stuck on rather than a tube problem. It MAY be a mechanical thing OR it could even be contamination such as a staple or paper clip that has fallen into the key area. Look for something obvious around the key contact. Most any competent electronics person should be able to fix this one.

SOURCE: no sound is coming from my external computer

Hello....
No Sound, No Volume Control, Mixer not Found, No Sound device installed…etc etc, This is a generic issue with all Windows OS updates....many of the users are facing this issue....this issue began after an auto update from MS changed many IRQs of Win OS, mainly the Sound and Audio Control system of Windows.
1 - R U facing NO Audio / No Sound issue...?
2 - Is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - Is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

If ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....as ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....

NOTE..THIS…IS…VERY..IMPORTANT...
No file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it…or giving any help on this.
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just trying to do some service and help everyone affected by this stupidity from Microsoft.

Does an organ have to be tuned to a piano?

Electronic organs typically do not require tuning
A pipe organ produces sound via hundreds or thousands of organ pipes, each of which produces a single pitch and timbre. The goal of tuning a pipe organ is to adjust the pitch of each pipe so that they all sound in tune with each other.

Lowery organ works well but hums please help

Probably needs the filter capacitors in the power supply replaced.

The electrolytic caps dry out after years and become ineffective in filtering to get pure DC current for the electronics.

Other less likely possibility is a broken ground wire someplace within.

User's manual for the Lowrey Organ Holiday Deluxe w/Magic Genie?

Here is a site to download manual:

http://www.lowreyforum.com/lowreymanuals.htm

A Leslie is special speaker system that is spun to break up the sound so it doesn't seem to come from a single point.

Sometimes the Leslie speaker is in a seperate cabinet fromthe organ, and SOMETIMES it is a simulated Leslie that is done with multiple speakers and electronic switching. If the Leslie is an external one, it usually attaches via a cable that often has either 9, 11, or 13 pins.
