Icons on the home screen are just shortcuts to the apps in the app drawer.

Open the app drawer and look for it there.

Also, just FYI: The maintenance app is just voodoo. It doesn't really do anything useful. It's only there for people who feel like they need to do some kind of maintenance. Android does all the maintenance on it's own.

SOURCE: my cruz tablet 103 won't keep app open, it just reverts to home page. Any suggestions?

You need to update your tablet, or update the programming on your tablet. Apparently all the android 2.2 tabs are considered "legacy" models and don't support the newest google and java script. Since this is what the net primarily uses, those of us with the Cruz are hosed.

Forgot home screen password for Samsung 12.2 tablet. How do I unlock it?

If it's an android device...
1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the devcice. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

Frozen tab2 10.1 samsung

Try this lol,
This works with devices having physical home button:-
1. Press the power button and the home button together for a while, long enough until the screen appears with Android bot and a progress bar which shows that it's formatting the internal memory.
With NO physical HOME button:-
2. In case your device does not have a physical home button, press the power button and both the volume keys together for few seconds.
3. Press gently the "reset pin-hole" present generally on a side of Tablet. Use a clip-pin or similarly fine thing to gently push inside to reset your device to factory settings.
NOTE: You'll not only lose the apps on your internal memory and the data associated with it. All the device updates will also be lost and you'll have the version of Android your tablet came with.

How to install a game on my samsung galaxy tab?

Well, there is a place called "Android Market" or similar.

If your desired game can be found there, simply download and install the game app and you can enjoy the fun.

If the game can't be found, or it requires a fee to play. You'll probably need to root the device. Here is a 1-click Android-Root solution for your reference.
