You can do a hard reset. There is a button on the back of the router. Push and hold for 10 seconds and it will reset all information on the router. YOu might have to use a paper clip.

First of all, clean the printhead.

if the lines are from top to bottom, some dots in the print head are broken. Replace.

If the lines are from left to right, check if the ribbon is loaded correctly, if yes, proceed to clean the printhead, and every part that are in contact with ribbon.

This problem is not a heat problem, set the temperature to 0, in order to save printhead.

Are you printing in thermal transfer mode or on thermal direct stock? Sounds like your image is not black enough for your scanner. Things to check: adjust printhead temperature, change ribbon stock, change thermal-direct stock, adjust scanner's sensitivity.
