Hi! I have a Panasonic NV-GS17 Mini DV Camcorder. When I connect the USB cable from Cam in to PC (with Windows Vista) the PC 'beeps' as if it recognises something is there, though when I try to access the drive via 'My computer' it asks me to insert a disk in to relevant drive. Do I need to download recognition software to access the files on the Camcorder & if so where can I find it? Any help would be most welcome. Thanks!

Use USB data cable which u get with ur cam.Install the panasonic software also packed with cam.And get ur video copied to pc.But this is a slow process because of Movie copied while playing.
