Will a Jensen nav 104 work with a Jensen jrv212t

I had the same problem. Pressing the reset button brought system back to life.

Jimmie Monica Hey, Its not a problem with the unit. You have the blue or Blue/White wire hooked up wrong. Disconnect both the blue wire and the blue and white wire and I guarantee the sound starts working on everything. If you have one of those two wires hooked up for a power antenna or remote amp turn on, then switch which one you are using and that will fix the problem permanently. Disconnecting them both will get it to work though. I guarantee it. Please post back and let me know if it works for you. Thanks

YES! But you will first have to get a modulater. They sell them at best buy for about $50 the last time I checked. You have to get one made for a Jensen. They are easy to install, but you do have to pull the head unit from the dash.

nav 101 is applicable to any of the Jensen line of DVD media centers...
Nav 102 is just an updated version.

Gate5 stop supporting the unit and Jensen went to HORIZON NAVIGATION for help.

They stepped up and now off us new maps and software that work better and is much easyer.

This happens when the language files stored in your Jensen's memory get damaged. The Sat Nav system will look for new language files on your USB memory, and return the error.


Often the problem happens because you formatted the disk.


I suggest to start trying to set language to English.

In theory you are supposed to restore the flash image from original CD or computer backup.



A first attempt to fix the problem can be done resetting the Sat Nav. Just take out the battery for ten seconds.


If you have the original CD, files to be restored are in the IGO folder, and must be copied into the flash disk.


Files to be copied are

• igolaunch.exe
• IGOPATH.TXT
• SettingsBackup.ini
• TAHOMA.TTF
• TAHOMABD.TTF

If that does not work, contact Jensen/Audiovox clicking here, they will enable a download of the language files to replace the damaged ones.
