SOURCE: Washer doesn't agitate

sounds like your washer went mellow on you(doesn't get agitated, right)?

ok. enough humor.

sounds like there's a problem with the motor/belt/control board in that order

SOURCE: My washer fills , sits, does not agitate, empties and spins.

I had the same problem. Take the agitator off by pulling on it extremely hard - use allen wrenches in the slots on the sides to help. This exposes the "air bell coupler" - take the 7/16" bolt out and slide it off. Chances are the spline is stripped out inside. The part is 5 bucks online

SOURCE: GE washer GNSR2140A0WW wont spin/agitate but fills and drains

Hello, your problem is going to be with the lids switch, in this machine it is going to be a magnetic contact. You can confirm this my pulling the front panel off and accessing the wireing to the lids switch, If you have electrical knowledge bypass the lid switch using a wire nut and run the machine. If all is ok make sure you relpace the lid switch since it is there for a reason. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!!!

Whirlpool washing machine (WTW4800Q1) only has the Fill/Sensing light blink when I turn it on. It was mid cycle, water full, when I first noticed an issue.

You confused it's logic board with too much stuff going on. Try this;

Unplug it from the wall.

Remove the drain hose and lower it into a bucket. FULLY empty the machine.

Now turn it on.

Run a full cycle without stopping or starting. That should reset the logic board.

Here is your manual in case you need it.

Unlocking your washer so it actually works.

If the green cycle light is flashing on then off, this usually means the cycle is paused. The lid lock should unlock when in pause mode, if not you will need to press and hold the "Pause/Play" button to clear the cycle completely, if there is water in the unit, it will drain first, then unlock the lid and be on standby to start a new cycle. Amana washer lid lock wont quit blinking

Your washer lid lock button is locked and lid was not put down before it locked, which is why the light is flashing. Therefore, push the "START" button until you see the lid lock button is off (Approx 3 seconds). Once it is off, then you can put the lid down and push the start button again, which will lock the lid into place. The washer will NOT drain or wash or spin unless the lid itself is in the locked position. If you were able to get the lid down and locked and it still doesn't work, then you need a technician to replace a wiring harness. However, you mentioned that the lid lock button was flashing, therefore, it stands to reason that your lid is NOT locked down.

All the lights light up, but washer won't fill when I push the start button. It is barely 3 years old. This happened before and then after I left it a while, when I pushed start it filled. I tried...

Unplug the machine for one minute. Plug back in and raise and lower the lid six times within 12 seconds. You may need to do it several times before it resets. After resetting the inverter board, put the machine in a spin cycle and see if it runs. If not, check for a green blinking light on the inverter board. It will flash failure codes according to the picture above. If no light you probably have a blown fuse built into the neutral side of the harness on the white/red wire.
