The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.

SOURCE: Kenmore front load washer won't drain

Remove the bottom panel under the door to access the drain pump. Make sure the washer is unplugged before servicing the pump. The pump will be located under the wash tub in the front of the washer. There should be a small access cover that can be unscrewed to access the inside of the pump. If not, remove the inlet hose to access the pump impeller. HINT: Pull the drain hose from the standpipe and use a shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain line. This will pull any remaining water out of the drain lines and wash tub. This will minimize the amount of water that spills out of the drain pump when you remove the access cover.

It does not take much to damage this small drain pumps. If you clean the pump thoroughly and it still exhibits drain problems, the manufacturer recommends replacing the pump.

If you require additional assistance, let me know before you rate the solution. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Water doesn't drain

you could have a bad drain pump.
have you checked the hoses that come from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump for anything that might be stuck in there, also check the hose that comes off the drain pump to the wall and look for an obstruction.

Water won't drain from tub.how to change pump.everything else works fine. nothing pluged.

Does water drain when washer goes from wash to rinse or is it just at the end after rinse. It could be a switch on the cycle timer not working if it doesn't pump out at all. If it doesn't pump out at only the end maybe one of the cams on the timer that makes the switch to dump water is loose or broke.

Wash will not drain out all the water, sounds like pump is working, but usually quits after or during wash cycle, will not drain now even if i set on spin only.

HI,
Check back of washe with a flashlight for a bent or clogged drain hose. Do not move washer to check it. When you move it , it will straighten out and you will never know if it was bent
Also while it is pumping , pick up end of drain hose at drain and observe the volume of water being pumped.
If no water then the Pump needs replaced.

Water is pouring out the front of the machine- don't know if the seal is loose or what

It's likely that the drain pump is clogged. Debris from pockets often work their way into the drain pump, occasionally clogging the pump. Other things to check are the drain hose and tube for obstructions.

What does the code nd stands for on the maytag front load washer?

ND No Drain Machine control board monitors water level in washer during and at the end of pump out. If wash level does not reset pressure switch, it will see water left in the washer. 1.Check for pump/drain restriction. 2.Check pump operation.
3.Check pressure switch for open contacts.
4.Check inputs and outputs at machine control board.
5.Replace responsible component.

Washer sticks on wash cycle; runs continuosly on spin cycle

That sounds like you have one of them fancy water saving outfits with a diverter valve that dumps the pump water continuosly over the clothes. Weirdest washer I ever saw. Could be the solenoid that opens the drain pump has failed. Don't know too much about em but I do have the service manual. Post your model number for a more precise answer. I have to drain my washing machine through a front hole drain opening in the bottom corner of machine. Water comes out, it has been left in machine. I drain my machine every six loads. WHY did Bosch design...

you have a blockage some where in the drain hose.most likely in the hose the comes form the bottom of the tub to the pump.you attach a wet dry shop vac to the end of the drain hose and remove the water this way while the vaccum is working look at the hose that comes form the tub to the pump and if it colapses then there is something restricting the water flow.also make sure to check in side the drain pump cover for any thing that is obstructing the pump
