Yoou deselect key in programming. OR you press key one by one and when you see key sign dis appear,it mean your channel is unlock know.

SOURCE: my new kenwood protalk tk 3130 wont talk to me old 3130

The old radios might hard coded programmed. You need a computer cable KG22 and the software KPG75D. I converted my 3130 to the 3131 which was previously programmed to a retail store. Now I'm back to FRS/GMRS instead of the business freqs.

The Kenwood TK-3312e is a EU version of that handheld If you truly have that model# 3312e and not a TK-2312e.
Then you don't have VHF here the specs for the posted model# you gave.

GMRS operation is only legal on the fifteen frequency channels which are designed into the unit. What makes you think that there are hidden frequencies?

After programming a TK-630 the display flashes, does this indicate VCO unlocked?

Also this indication is due to you put out of range frequency, check you frequency, it must be with Radio operating band.

HOW CAN I PROGRAM MY KENWOOD TK768.I DO NOT NEED IT CHANNELIZED

If I am not mistaken the TK 768 can only operate in a channel based manner as it is a land mobile radio, not a ham radio. The TK line is Kenwoods Land Mobile ( commercial trucks, taxi cabs and so on) line. these radios are meant to be operated on specific frequencies that are limited and assigned by the FCC . While the can be reprogrammed for ham radio frequencies legally, being designed for land mobile use, they are limited to the single fequency/frequency pair programmed into the channelized set up they use.

The TK-360 is an 8-channel commercial/business radio that's available with a wide variety programmed frequencies, and operation requires a license. Unlicensed operation could interfere with authorized users and carry a heavy fine/penalty. The MONITOR switch lets you lock onto and listen to one of the programmed frequencies even when you have not specifically been called. You can identify the programmed frequencies by using a frequency counter or a scanner with the "Close Call" feature.

Compatability

The Kenwood TK-3200LU15 is the 2Watt replacment model for the TK-3101. the TK-3202 or TK-3203 are 4 watt models that can be used. Although, they have to be programmed with the frequencies and codes you are using. The TK3101 came with defualt GMRS/FRS frequencies.

Tone on channels 5-15

I have worked on the TK 3101's and that tone is when the channel does not have a frequency.
It is a PC programmable radio. I assume you purchased the radio used and the previous owner had channels 5-15 "blank"
I can program it for you if you needed.
