Defrost problem, advance into defrost to see if heater comes. If it does replaced timer, if it doesnt you will need to check heater and defrost thermostat.

SOURCE: too warm

First of all check to see if the compressor is running. If it's not running and you have no leakage of refrigerant. it is probably the start relay at fault, or the thermostat control is faulty. Check with a multimeter on ohms and check between common & start see what ohms it reads then check between common and run. see what that reads. then check between start and run, this should read what the other two read added together. if you have no readings then the compressor may be burnt out.

Testimonial: "thanks, i will try this out!"

SOURCE: the door handle on my

You will see a small hole on the underside of the handle at the two points that the handle touch the fridge door, put a small straight nose screwdriver in this hole and turn 90deg which will expand the metal clip inside at the same time pull the handle away from the door and it will come off.You can then screw the handle holding clip into the fridge door and then push the handle back on.

My temp setting does not match my output temp

I have a recurring problem with a GE Profile PSB48LSRABV. Here's an example sequence:
  • Fresh food compartment set to 37F on the control panel (for months)
  • Thermometer in fridge reads 46F (with lots of water inside per manual)
  • Press "Display Temp" button, display shows fridge at 37F
  • Turn power off, count to 15, turn power on, wait for control panel to boot
  • Press "Display Temp" button, display shows fridge at 46F (matches thermometer!)
  • Compressor runs and cools fresh food compartment
  • Hours later thermometer in fridge reads 37-38 (yeah!)
  • Press "Display Temp" button shows fridge at 37F
  • Within days, the fridge is warmer inside again, thermometer inside reads 45+, but display reads 37 - unit needs to be "rebooted" again!
Fresh food thermistor from top of cabinet measured properly in ice water (and warmer water), the unit has always passed all the self-tests, and condensor coils and fan are clean, so I had techs come give it a shot under home warranty:
  • Trip 1 - Tech came to assess, ordered new evaporator fan
  • Trip 2 - Replaced fresh food evaporator fan (note new fan is working in fridge, and old fan works fine on bench)
  • Trip 3 - Ordered main computer PCBA
  • Trip 4 - Replaced main computer PCBA
Unfortunately, it continues the same cycle of misreading the temperature until power cycles, and taking a day off of work for each visit is getting painful.
Any ideas?

Samsung rsh1nhmh fridge freezer not turning on and tripping electrics.

sounds like electrical fault within your freezer any small fault will throw your contact breakers on your consumer box without blowing the fuse in the appliances plug

How do I get my new Samsung RF220 to be cooler in the refrigerator section? The temperature does not go below 52degrees F. It is set at the coldest setting.

Check for deformed rubber boot that runs entirely around edge of fridge door allowing cold air in fridge to leak out. 2nd possibility: Louvers in wall between freezer and fridge may be stuck in mostly closed position. Force them GENTLY to open. That will allow the cold air to pass normally from the freezer to the fridge to give you proper fridge temps. If these two easy cures don't work, here's hoping that Samsung owes you in-warranty service and parts on your "new" unit.

I have the samsung upside down fridge 590 litre freezer is great but the fridge is showing it is set on 3 degrees but inside the fridge it is 7

For starters, Get a second thermometer to check against those two.
Also leave the freezer closed to several hours and see what the difference is in temp.
I would expect that the inside temp would mostly be warmer than the 'set' temp., as the latter is always trying to catch up every time the freezer door opens.

The thermometer shows 4

The number that is showing on your fridge is a setting and not the actual temperature in your refridgerator. The recommended setting is what you should start with. That number maybe highlighted or noted in the fridge of a starting setting. It is probably between a 3-5 range and is usually the middle setting.
