I searched the net for this driver and found some treads which points to a website, which, according to sandisk is an incorrect address. really need this driver, if you can help me. thanks.

The best thing to do is to go to the free palm chat service
they offer. I have used this and it worked good for me. Here is a link to the
free chat service. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a Palm
Chat. From there click on the link that says Chat Now and follow the online

No sim card in the Zire 72. On-board memory on the motherboard only to store records not directed to or on expansion memory card. Zire 72 battery changeout not designed to be user serviceable. Undertake at your peril (unless you are very steady handed, patient, and very very careful). The 72 is probably the most difficult of the Palms to change batteries. Go to: http://forum.brighthand.com Navigate to the Zire 72 section and read the posts. There are even detailed photos and uTube movies that deal with changing the battery. I have used their forum for years. Lots of help there.
Make sure your card is an "SD" card and not "SDHC" which means you can only use expansion cards up to 2GB only. There are, however 4GB SD cards, but are now either hard to find or are more expensive. There are SDHC drivers around but you have to pay for those.
Using a very sharp pointed knife worked for me in a friend's phone.Just try to grip the card with the point and lever it out. There should be no lock to prevent it from poping out.
