You might not have alot of moisture in your house at this point.

You have to set the dehumidifier at 45 percent, above 45 percent will remove water from your body and will dehydrate you. Any dehumidifier it may be check how much percent you set it at. I have the same model ad70gusx I set it at 45 and I love it.. I am in a cool dry place

According to the Owner's Manual for your model, the fan will run continually, if the unit is set in continuous mode or if the unit is in defrost mode. Once the unit senses a rise in the humidity level, the compressor will start up again. Also, a dirty or clogged air filter will cause the fan to run more that it should.

Unless you live in a dry environment or place the unit in a hermetically sealed room, it probably will not turn off. As the air dries within the room, more moisture comes in with the air. As long as the air outside of the room is more humid than the room this will be true.

the unit has a sealed system leak that need to be repaired by sears 1-800-905-9505 for service
