Bad news the main power amp has failed.
The good news is that the service manual is online and it's free.
You will need to read the manual and find IC500, which it says is an RSN3502C.

SOURCE: Panasonic SC-PM08 shuts down error F74

Would be cool if that display means you have #74 fuse blown. Maybe its for the amp output to the speakers? have you tried the speakers on another system? could they be blown? Is there anything in the manual about the error?

F61 is a problem with the output amplifier pac. It is the equivalent of "protect" mode. The output pac needs to be replaced. I'll look up the part number for you.

SOURCE: f61 fault

Although the Panasonic Home Theater systems are great when they work properly. If your machine displays the "f61" error message, it's likely to be little more than a paper weight for the average person. The inner workings of the machine are rather complex to disassemble for diagnostics. And can take several hours to check all the components. The best advice I can give you is to sell the machine on e-bay as a broken item. If you offer shipping you can get more money for a complete system (speakers & all).

SOURCE: SC-BT 100 Error Code f61

Had the same problem. Found that the code refers to the cooling fan. Could be that the fan is dusty or not running when the system starts up. I removed the fan with the two screws and reseated the plug. Make certain that the short, black wire (that seems to go to nothing) is securing the plug to the board.

SOURCE: Panasonic DMR-ES46V shows F60 Error

I have same problem with es40v - f60 error with no response to troubleshooting protocol. This machine also was used very little & also has a history of turning itself on. Panasonic used to make high quality products. A shame that their products are no longer trustworthy. I can understand that machines break - i'm very frustrated to learn replacement parts are not available. Guess i need to re- think brand loyalty.

Halo, just some help pls...my Panasonic SA-MAX5000 just shows F61..I have read about the fans that could be the problem..but botH are running....

Hello Hendrix, I pass the list of reasons why your Panasonic SA-MAX5000 tells you F61, this information is taken from The Community ELECTRONICOS.com
F61 The DC DECT circuit of the "micro" detected an anomaly. * See: Note 1 Source: www.comunidadelectronicos.com
* Note 1: The error code F61 is one of the most frequent and its origin can be due to different causes. This occurs when the "micro" (IC system control) detects a variation in the reference voltage of the pin called DCDET. This voltage is 5 V. Through this pin (in some models are two: DCDET1 and DCDET2), the micro monitor the presence of DC voltage (direct current) in the speaker output, in addition to the voltages (+ and - ) power supply of the output stage and the other voltages provided by the source (5, 9, 15V, etc.) A short circuit or excessive consumption at any stage of the equipment, resulting in the absence or fall below the normal value, of any of the voltages of the source will cause the reference voltage of the DCDET pin to drop below 5V, causing the micro to turn off the equipment and present the F61 code on the display. The same happens if there is a direct voltage (DC) in any of the outputs to the loudspeakers, of the power stage. In most of the cases that the error code F61 is presented, it is usually due to problems in the power stage. For this reason, it is advisable, as a first step, to check this stage, completely disconnecting the integrated output circuit and testing the equipment again. If you turn on normally, without presenting the error code, it is necessary to replace the integrated one. If after disconnecting the power integrated, still continues to present the code F61, it is necessary to start the checks on the pin or DCDET pins of the "micro" and trace the cause from there. The same could be due to some defective component in the same DCDET circuit, or, because any of the supply voltages is absent or below normal. Not detailed here, specific data on identification of components or voltages of the circuits, because these vary depending on the model. But in all cases the reference voltage in DCDET is 5V The DCDET pins of the "Micro", vary according to the model, for example: in models SA-AK15, SA-AK18, SC-AK27 (and others) pin 32 in models SC-AK22 / 33/44/55 (and others) pins 33 and 34 If it is determined that error F61 is due to any of the voltages absent or below normal, obviously the cause in the corresponding circuits. In summary: A fault in the output stage or any of the power circuits, including voltage regulators, diodes, capacitors, etc., may cause the F61 error code to appear. A "locked" mechanism can cause the consumption of a motor to be excessive, reducing the corresponding voltage due to the overload and also producing the indicated code. As indicated above, the causes can be diverse, but starting the search, from the pin or DCDET pins of the micro with the help of the diagram, you can locate the source of the problem, in order to solve it.

Repeated F61 fault code on Panasonic Home cinema system Model: SC-HT990 Is it the fan in the sub woofer?

Hello

F 61 error means the failure of FAN
most probably dust in the fan made it to stop working so clean the dust and connect the fan to an external supply of 12v(using red and black wire) for 5 minutes and reconnect it to the unit otherwise replace the fan with new one.
Surely this will solve the problem.

Kind regards

Panasonic SA-AK600

Try to power on the unit without the speakers connected. If it works normally without the error showing, then a speaker wire maybe shorted or a speaker defective. If the error F61 is still there, then most likely the Regulator IC is defective in the unit.
