Service door error - Washing Machines

There are some suggestions here, but not as much as I would like. you will probably need to take it to a service centre. These machines need regular dealer service as they are all very unreliable.

Its a Door Error. It happens when your door is not closed properly or the side coeners are not clean. It happens even when the rusty part (small magnetic) part is missing from the door then the door does'nt close and gives an error dE. Dont worry get the magnet for the door or you can call the customer service and ask for the engineer to visit you soon. it will cost you around 500-550 rs for the service. Or change the door will cost you around 1000-1500 rs.

That code means Door lock failure. You will need a service tech to diagnose the exact problem.

A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try to lock
it six times before displaying the error code.
Possible causes/procedure:
¦ Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.
¦ Door switch/lock unit failure.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check door switch/lock unit.
3. Check the wire harness connections to the door
switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU).

I think Duets have a propensity to have door lock failures...Why removing the surge suppressor would make a difference I have no idea.

What has happened is either the Door Sensor or the input to that, has failed in some way... You will probably have to get it serviced, ask for a firm "Quote" from a reputable service man.

1)door lock Assembly is broken or not attached to Door
2) inspect the door lock/switch mechanism
3)check the wireing harness connectorsfrom door lock/switch assembly and the ccu or central control unit
4) the door lock assembly has failed, u must replace the part or call for service.. hope this helps

52 Scanner Error Perform the following to troubleshoot a 52 scanner error:

1. Verify that the toner door is completely closed. If the door is not closed, the printer will not allow the laser shutter to operate and will present the error “52 Scanner Error” or “Door open or no print cartridge”.
2. Verify that the black connecting link to the toner door hinge is properly attached. If the latch is not properly attached (Figure 1), snap the hinge in place, close the toner door, and power-cycle the unit. Figure 5: Black toner door latch

4. Verify that the door hinge and upper ring are not broken. If either are broken, the unit will need to be returned to HP or a local service provider for service using the applicable warranty, support pack, or contract option. Figure 7: Door hinge and upper ring

To delay the 3 second shut down and enable the technician to access service mode; open the front door and pull out the transport unit. Do not actuate front door microswitch. Press the service mode button, enter " * 4 * ", scroll to error clear and clear error code. Machine will automatically turn off power after clear. Power up machine and test.
If the power shuts down after error code has been cleared, the cause of the error has not been corrected. Correct cause of error code and clear error in service mode.

Step one: Close the print cartridge access door
1.Verify that the print cartridge access door is completely closed. It may appear to be closed, but if it is not completely closed, the error message will display. Verify that there are no obstructions blocking the door.
2.If you are unsure how to close the print cartridge access door on your model, consult your User Guide for more information.

If you have attempted to completely close the access door and the error still appears, there may be a problem with the door sensor and the unit may require service.

Step two: Service your product
If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.
