SOURCE: The heated dry and clean lights flash together

I had this same problem. I read on another blog that the manual recommends that you turn the power off to dishwasher. When you turn the washer back on, the lights still flash but then push the off button. The lights stopped flashing.

SOURCE: maytag electric oven - MER5770AAQ. lower heating element not work

Hi, Unplug the oven and remove the element to test it. Check the element and see if there is continuity. If the element is open, replace it. It can be bad even tho it doesn't appear bad.

I hope this helps you.

Maytag Gemini, double oven electric. Replaced bottom element, replaced thermal sensor and tested power. It still won't heat up. WHY?

There are several potential reasons why your Maytag Gemini double oven electric range is still not heating up after replacing the bottom element and thermal sensor and testing the power. Some possibilities include:
  1. The wiring or control board may be faulty and preventing the oven from heating up.
  2. The upper heating element or broil element may also be faulty and need to be replaced.
  3. The oven may not be calibrated properly, which could cause it to not heat up correctly.
  4. There may be a problem with the oven's door latch or switch, which could prevent it from heating up.

Electric burner does not heat up.

Hi,
The reason for Maytag electric burner not to heat up is that the heating element had exploded and there was white powder all over the inside of the oven. Replacing the heating element will make it work.
Also would recommend having the following cross verified:
· Element terminals have loose connections? Reposition the element.
· Range element shorted out? Find out by testing; replace if needed.
· Burner switch is bad? Find out by testing; replace if needed.
· Element receptacle bad?
Find out by testing; replace if needed.

There is a gasket on the heating element. You could turn off the power and tighten the heating element or replace the gasket. good luck cathy.
