you can run 32:1 if you want to it wont hurt it but it may foul a plug since its more oil, 50:1 is the best ratio for your blower

SOURCE: homelite ut o8107 blower 25cc will only idle

Hello:

Have you Removed the Muffler and Checked the Exhaust Port and Muffler for Carbin Restriction?
Remove the Muffler and Start the Unit. If the Operates Correctly, then the Spark Arrestor Screen is Clogged and the Muffler/Screen Requires Replacing.
Make Sure the Exhaust Port is Not Restricted Also.
Hope this Helps.

Good Luck

Only runs with choke half on as if mixture is too weak. Can`t work out how to adjust mixture

homelites fuel mixture is 32:1 and you can try to adjust the jets or jet on the carb if it has two jets turn them all the way in to the right but dont over do it just till they stop then back them out one full turn and see if that does the trick if not then you need a carb kit

We have a Homelite Leaf Blower HB-180V Please adfvise the correct gas mixture for this product. Thanks. Bonnie Frommeyer

This appears to be an older model, which means more oil was allowed to be mixed with the fuel and the carburetors were tuned accordingly. The EPA has changed all that now. Your mix ratio is listed at 32:1. See the simple chart.

I need to no what oil/fuel mixture the homelite backpack blowers use

It should have the mixture on a lable near the fuel filler cap; something like 40:1, or 50:1.Home Depot sells small bottles of 2-cycle oil for homelite engines. Mix one to a 1-gal of gasoline.

Does this blower use 2 cycle mix; I have a homelite vac attack II 200mph blower and it is having trouble starting

Yes it will use a fuel mixture of 40:1(3.2 oz of two cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas). Any fuel sitting over 30 days now is considered bad fuel. All the manufacturers schools this year and told us this. We are finding it to be true.
Good day.

My homelite yardbroom 2 won't start. Maybe wrong gas/oil mix

Hi
If you remove the fuel you believe to be the mixture out of the fuel tank and refuel with the correct mixture then remove the air filter. Put a few drops of the correct mixture in to the intake it should start. it may take a few times of repetting putting the fuel in to the intake, but eventually it will clean out the bad fuel and run good.Remember to replace the air filter!
