It is abnormal temperature in the fuser*, thermistor error.

Maybe replacing fuser would help. But better contact service person.

*fuser, the part of a laser printer that melts the toner onto the medium. It consists of a hot roller and a back-up roller.

I entered the SIM mode : CLear - Auto- Clear - Auto- then I pressed 14 -Start- Clear and then , the machine automatically warmed up and came to ready...Please, How can I be a copier Tech? I'm so eager to learn that. LET ME KNOW SO I CAN HELP OTHERS. THANKS SO MUCH...

c44 = fuser error
turn copier off
hold down 0 & 8 while turning it on

then wait one min, then press 4 0 0 start

then 0 and set

turn off wait one min then turn on if this does not work it might need parts

Press "Clear+8" and u will see the error code.

c380 indicates auto-toner error for black developer (K).

Check following:

Is the harness between the LGC board and the developer unit drawer connector open-circuited?
Is any harness inside the developer unit or the auto-toner sensor harness open-circuited?
Is the auto-toner sensor connector or the connector CN341 on the LGC board disconnected?

IF connector no problems, then u probably need to replace the auto toner sensor.
