Camera distance may be too far from wi fi source ie router or access point ? possible solution use a wi fi range extender.
Neighbours Wi Fi interfering with your WI FI . possible solution change the channel used by your wi fi from auto to channel 3 or channel 6 . This ensures channel spacing from neighbors if they are on auto as well . Setting in wi fi access point or wi fi router
Testimonial: "The cgo2 camera is in a remote control helicopter.the camera is the network supplier(sends signal to phone)i try to connect when the two are next to each other.can i switch the connection to static?could that be a possible solution?"
From researching
turn on camera
wait until camera initialises
led should go from red to green
then connect to it on wi fi setting in phone and available networks shown - it should show up as an available network.
Do you have the application installed on the phone ?
on reading the specs of your camera it mentions a st-10+ ground station

I wonder if range is an issue using your phone's wi fi especially on 5.8 Ghz for the video

I just had this same problem - I suspect it may have been a new app I installed that changed some settings.
I fixed mine by going into Settings>Mobile Network settings, then tick "Use packet data". Worth a try.
SOURCE: I am having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi on my DS.
Make sure have a wireless broadband internet connection available within a short distance of where you are. The DS Lites are kinda slow. You may have to try a few times to get onto the internet. Also, sometimes if you are using a modem that is being used by some other people at the same time (coffee shop etc), it can be painful getting on the internet with the DS Lite. You might also want to power off the DS Lite and even remove the battery for a minute and put the battery back in and power the unit back on. This will reset the DS Lite and and sometimes accelerate the speed at which the DS Lite process.
