SOURCE: I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx. It has a TC

i think it stands for traction control. most cars with that say ETC which stands for electronic traction control. if you have a manual for the car it should say what it is.

Stop by an AutoZone or O'Reilly's and they have a ECM scan tool that they will "lend" you to download the codes. I'm pretty sure AutoZone does this for free...

SOURCE: im trying to pass the smoke check on my 2000 chevy

its the O2 Sensor, depending on what bank its on, depends what one needs changed.. bank 1 or A is the sensor on the exhaust closes to the engine, and if its bank 2, or B its the sensor on the exhaust closest to the catalatic converter.... or it could say upstream or downstream, the upstream is the one closest to the engine, the downsream is the one by converter. hope this helps

How do I remove the fuse box under hood of a 2005 chevy Malibu?

Look at the sides of the fuse box. There are four tabs. Insert a flat screw driver and push away from the box, while pulling up. They just snap into place. You will also have to remove some harness clamps to get the box far enough out of your way.

Car smoking after sitting for several hours

First thing I need to know is where you are seeing the smoke.
Under the hood, out the exhaust pipe, or from underneath the car ??

2005 chevy malibu classic.... theft warning light coming on and not allowing car to start..... best solution?

Let the car sit undisturbed for 10 - 15 minutes, then try to start it. Check the owners manual if you have it. Sometimes, on various cars letting them sit awhile will allow the system to reset itself. On others sometimes rapidly turning the key from off to on, without turning to start 3 to 8 times within 10 seconds and then on the last turn to the on position leave it there until the horn chirps, at that point turn the key directly to start, or turn off first and turn to start. If all this fails, a GM dealer can reset the system.

After my 2005 dodge magnum sits (lets say overnight) it runs rough and produce white smoke. After several minutes the smoking and rough idling stops. What causes this and what price range to get it fixed

White smoke is a sign of water/condensation (due to the coolant additive)......worst case scenario, you have a head gasket leak (minor at this stage), or you simply need a tune up......as white smoke on cold start up could be normal...has it just started happening, or have you only just started noticing it ???

When was the last time it has been serviced (plugs, oil etc)

Alight is coming on in dashboard that looks like either my battery or my radiator and it looks like it is telling me it is low on fluid. what does this mean? I have a 2002 chevy malibu

first you have to determine which it is or you can check both for proper levels i doubt its your battery,Chevy installs maintenance free battery's, so let it cool off then check you coolant level,if any has been lost i would be concerned and look for leaks ,have it pressure tested.

Most likely have a bad intake gasket, or clogged radiator. make sure your fans are coming on also.
