My sound bar model number ITB 196 be will not hook up Bluetooth to any of my devices

I have just read your iLive manual cover to cover and there is nothing in there to say it is Bluetooth enabled. It isn't in Features and isn't in Set Up. Simply, it won't connect to Bluetooth because it doesn't have that feature.

After looking at your user manual I see a Bluetooth powered sub with a standard AC cord. This should work with other Bluetooth devices provided JBL hasn't done something proprietary with this system. See https://www.groupon.com/articles/how-does-bluetooth-work for a fairly good explanation of Bluetooth. Then, before buying anything, I would call JBL tech support and rule out the "proprietary" possibility (+44 161 222 3325).

It is in Bluetooth mode searching for a device to hook up to. Set your device to Bluetooth so the sound bar can detect it for connection.

Hook your sound bar to your output device, Cable Box, DVD/Blu-Ray player. Or try the follow should your Sound Bar have HDMI.

The Sound bar should have a HDMI in and out or at least most Samsung models do as well as Bluetooth support.

It is easier to answer when you list the model of each Item, there are many different version of Samsung sound bars.

Most soundbar are wireless and require bluetooth. Give the exact manufacturer, make and model of sound bar.
