Try drag and dropping the image in a web browser.
After the browser opens the image, right click and save the image.
Then try opening it in Photoshop.

One more method is sufficiently new, it is called Photoshop Online Service repair photoshop file https://www.psd.repair/ - it works with all the popular platforms.

You might try saving your psd file somewhere else, and try deleting it.

SOURCE: How can I convert my jpeg files to rtf/txt format?

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} You can one of two ways. Go online to sites like http://www.onlinedocumentconversion.com/
or http://www.converttoword.com/ where you can upload scanned pages that you want to edit, and then download them in editable format. You end up in low cost method of few cents a page DIY and you can edit anytime anywhere safely.

Alternately buy a good OCR software (costs around $300 or so), install on your PC, learn its ins and outs and then convert to text or word and then edit.

I can't believe that my photo is lost now.

Hi,

You could try running a "chkdsk" scan overnight to repair any damaged data on your hard drive. Open "My Computer" and right click on the drive you have you photos stored upon. Select "Properties" from the menu. Click on the "Tool" tab of the box that comes up. Click on "Check" and scan your drive for errors. If you get a message that it needs to "Schedule" the scan say YES. Reboot your system when your don and leave it for the the time it needs to do the scan.

Unable open PSD: "unexpected end of file" error

1. Open "My Computer." In Windows XP, the icon is on the desktop. In Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must access this via the "Computer" option in the Start menu.
2. Double-click the "C" drive, followed by the "Windows" folder inside. Locate the temporary Photoshop folder, which will look similar to this: "Photoshop Temp6382948398." Double-click
the folder when you find it.
3. Locate the file inside the temporary folder that matches the name of the corrupted file. Double-click it to open it in Photoshop.
4. Click "Save As" in the "File" portion of the main menu bar. Save it in a different location and under a different name.

Photoshop CS3 Error

I've never heard of this, unless the user is saving to a PDF format. Have you tried saving a Photoshop document in a different format? Photoshop files are: PSD's or PDD's. I have only ever seen 'presets' in PDF format. In CS3, these are set by selecting: Edit> Adobe PDF Presets.
