Unfortunately, this TV cannot be repaired. Panels (screens) are to costly. As a warranty dealer, we are asked not purchase panels for TVs not under warranty. If under warranty and a panel fails, a new panel will be shipped. In your case you dropped the TV and that is not covered. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

This sounds like a speaker got too close to the TV.
Degauss is built into many tv's check for it in the menu.
Otherwise, yes a TV shop or yourself will need to degauss the TV.

i had and are having the same problem. first fix was new boards.. now i will be having it done again.. the first time the cost would of been around 850.00.. warranty thank you very much...now it will be the extended warranty i'm using...thank you again.. was told its a known issue witht he lg screens that came out earlier than the others the change out was just last aug or so.. next time it goes the extnded warranty will be a replacement..
