Here is a link to the SD card version. It is also available on DVD. SD card is the easiest to install and use. The SD card version can also be transfered to other Garmin units like the Oregon 450 if you plan to go hiking, boating, or geocaching!
No this is a road navigation only unit. For a cheap entry level GPS that you can use for Geocaching, take a look at the Garmin eTrex series. For a top of the line, consider a GPS60csx or the new Oregon series from Garmin.
