1st how old is the gas and 2nd how long did it sit for since you last used it? If there was any old fuel left in before now (more than 14 days) than it is possible your carb needs cleaning. If it's less than 14 days then you might want to check the compression. IF you have good compression, then you might want to take it to a service center to have it diagnosed.

you can run 32:1 if you want to it wont hurt it but it may foul a plug since its more oil, 50:1 is the best ratio for your blower

first check for spark, if you have spark gap plug at .030. turn mixture screws completelin give a short squirt of carb cleaner directly into throat of carb and try to start if unit starts then dies ,carb needs to be rebuilt and also change fuel filter in the gastank. gas mixture 40:1

It is pull cord, it sat for several days with the plug out. Even tried a squirt of starting fluid into the carb with no luck.
Clean out carb wipe all moisture out of it and anywhere eles you think water may have got it.
Will give it a shot.
