How do I set my lacrosse clock ws8055u

Press and hold Set (the top button on the right hand side of the clock) for 2+ seconds to enter the Programming mode. If the unit hasn't been set before "-5EST" should start flashing. Press + (the second button from the top) until the correct time zone is displayed. Press Set to save the setting and advance to the next program option. Again use the + button to set DST on or off. Press Set again to save and advance to the language choice (for the displayed day of the week). Press + to go through the choices and then press Set. Repeat the above steps to set the hour (if the clock didn't get the correct time from the WWVB radio). Note: PM will be displayed for the afternoon hours. There is no indicator for AM hours. Press Set again to save and advance to the Minute setting. Pressing Set again will bring the unit to set the Year, then advance to Month, then Date. The next press of the Set button will advance to setting the day of the week. The next items to set are the 12/24 hour time display and the units for the temperature.

If you press Snooze, on the top of the clock, or do not press a button within 15 seconds, the clock will exit the Programming Mode. LaCrosse has the manual for the WS-8055U on the product page: http://lacrossetechnology.com/8055/ . The direct link to the manual is http://lacrossetechnology.com/8055/manual.pdf . Make sure to replace the 2 AA batteries and position the clock where the radio signal is strong if the clock doesn't maintain the correct time.

I hope this helps.

How do you manually reset a Lacrosse Atomic Clock. Ours is always 4 hours behind and has not caught up. We already changed the batteries.

There are many LaCrosse atomic clocks. Which model do you have? Support for most is available here: http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/home.php . Use the drop down menu to select the model.

For the analog clocks, there is a manual set button on the back of the clock. Press the button and wait for the clock to advance to the correct time. Then make sure the correct time zone button has been pushed. Then make sure the clock is in a location where it can hear the signal overnight. (For best results stand the clock upright in a window.)

For WT-2165U travel alarm, press and hold Set to enter the setting function. Then select the time zone (with + or -) then press and release Set. Set the DST setting to on or off as needed, then press and release Set again. The next setting option is the snooze alarm duration. Press and release Set again to change the hour manually (+ to increase). Press and release Set again to set the Minutes. Correct the date (year, month, day, day of week) similarly. Then set the display to 12 or 24 hour time. Press and release Set to finish and exit the set functions.

For some of the digital clocks you can set the time manually by pressing and holding Set. First set the time display mode (12/24), then press and release Set again. Then set the hours, followed by Set and then the minutes. Continue through other menu options or just do not press any buttons for several (30) seconds.

On the digital clocks, the item being changed will flash.

To avoid interference with the signal reception, place your radio controlled clock where it will be at least six feet away from a TV, computer, air conditioner or other household electrical appliances. The optimal location is near a window. Windows facing Colorado providing the best signal.

I hope this helps.

Digital atomic clock radio

Hi. There should be a switch on top of the radio that allows you to select the time zone. It is just behind the snooze bar and labeled PST-MST-CST-EST. Try that.
