If this range has electric elements in the oven, you may have blown one of the heating elements. Do any of the oven functions work? If you were attempting to BAKE when this occurred, have you attempted to turn on the BROILER to see if it works? If the BROILER still heats up, you may just have a bad heating element. If both features quit working, the problem may be with your Electronic Range Control (ERC) board. Post back with comments and let me know.

SOURCE: Calibration

Electric ovens are calibrated behind the temp knob. Pull the knob straight off of the shaft and look at the back of the knob. There should be a metal slide with a scale and a little set screw. Loosen the screw and move the slide in the direction indicated for your needs.

Hi jacksmdmat,
Your f30 problem may be a bad sensor circuit. It may have an open connection or just plain defective sensor. Check the connection between the clock and the sensor as well as disconnect and measure the resistance of the sensor - should be about 1090ohms at room temp (75F)

You need to order parts from AVANTI.
http://www.avantiproducts.com/
Very disappointing customer service.
I have been waiting 6 weeks for a new thermostat. It will not
arrive from China until June -- I was originally told it would come in April. All AVANTI parts are from China and AVANTI in Florida is the
only dealer. I will never buy AVANTI again.

Avanti er24aw1

Call avantiproducts.com sales (service didn't work) and get a replacement bake element. It was about $35 including shipping. Download the manual from the site and study the structure. Uncover the back cover using standard phillips screw. TO DO THIS, SHUT DOWN YOUR HOME BREAKER AND MAKE SURE THE OVEN OPERATION LUMP DOES NOT LIGHT. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO HIGH VOLTAGE. Additionaly use multimeter to make sure the voltage is not there. Remove back inner cover. You can't remove this inner cover completely because of the thermostat line but try to make a work space in the lower part of the oven. The bottom element cover can be uncovered readily without any screw or pin. At this point you have access to baking element from the bottom of the oven. Loosen two nuts to remove the bad element. Reverse the procedure to install the new element.
