faltering on a slide contact on electric field or switch, but in most cases dirth (dust) in carbonbrushes can be hanging somewhat in one or both brushholders.
Or a problem in the trigger switch itself dust and dirth have almost the highest priority in case of faltering by clamping carbon brushes.
I measured them with a calipers and they seem to match those from Hitachi. 6.5mm x 7.5mm x 13mm. not sure about the length @ 13mm though, but they are available with round brass discs on the end (10mm)
hi this may be the brushes on the motor either stuck and worn or just stuck, you might be able to get replacement brushes if you can take it appart to replace them...hope this helps
i'm sorry to say that the brushes are not sold seperatly. you will have to replace the whole motor. if you email me [email protected] and tell me the exact model you have, i will be able to send you a parts diagram.
