Model00782 outdoor doesn't register after replacing batteries

If it is like mine, the CR2032 battery in the base station only lasts about 6 months, whereas the one in the outdoor unit lasts over a year. Try this though. Remove the batteries from both units. Replace the battery in the indoor unit and then in the outdoor unit. It should re-register it.

Did you reset the sensors after replacing the batteries? Bring the sensor inside and close to the main unit. Replace batteries on both units. Use a thumb tack and stick it into small reset hole near battery compartment to reset both units. If that doesn't work, your sensor needs more troubleshooting or needs to be replaced.

My clock display of the outdoor temp is only blinking and not display the the temp. I have the senser put in in outdoor window. The senser shoes the temp but is not carried over to the clock. Ive put in new batteries and have the senser in the correct distence from eachother. Why is the clock contunue blinking outdoor temp.?

To un-register the SB67108 handset from a base unit, SB67118 or SB67138, you will need to do these steps in order:
1. Press menu
2. Key in this sequence *883247#
3. Select deregister
4. Unplug the battery for minimum 10 seconds
5. Plug battery back in and it will want to be registered.
6. Follow the directions in your base unit manual to reregister it.

often removing the batteries in both units will reset. replace batteries in indoor unit firs, let it settle down then insert batteries into outdoor unit. There may be a button on outdoor unit to initialise the connection.
