Reformatting my memory card

I want to know how to reformat my memory card nokia 6600? how to reformat the memory card? memory card corrupted all ready.. how to reformat my memory card again? so i can use it again....
pls... help me...

    hi this is laxman . i am having nokia 6600 mobile phone . i am using 1gb memory card so after using tht in usb port it is corrupted. so how should i format it . it showing tht formatting bar tht bar is not moving. pls help me in this matter. mail me at [email protected] thnq u

You can direct format in your mobile.
Or format in your PC with FAT format.
Then create foldres for Video, sound, and images.

Even Though the memory card is corrupted, you can format it the same way as you did before.
No harm, Go ahead!

If you are not able to do it this time, try doing the same with the help of a multimedia card-reader device by connecting it to a computer.

hi,
i think you have problem so you want to reformat your phone...some reasons of corrupted software of cellphone is the virus ,and when its dropping...in the first reason virus ,you need to reformat the phone and also the memory card because it is also infected..by doing that ,removed memory card ,type *#7370# to your phone and enter locked code when ask for it...in your memory card ,you need card reader..plug in .go to the drive where it is located and select format....after doing those action ,insert memory card and and test the unit....i hope it will help you ,thanks for trusting fixya..

unfortunately no way to read your card password but there is way to reformat it but all your data will be deleted...using password remover gadget ,your memory card will be corrupted then afterwards its ready to reformat..insert in your phone ,selecct extra ,then tools,memory card and there is an option to reformat then select it..thanks

Reformatting my memory card
Get a card reader for your pc, then take the memory card out of the N70, and into the reader. It should show up in my computer, at which point you can right click and press "format". Press start, and wait. Once this is done, safely remove hardware and put back in phone. Warning! This will destroy all content on card!

HI,

it seems that you need to reformat the mamory card.

problem is all files saved in the card won't be saved or retrieved.

yu can reformat it ny using a computer that has a memory card reader.

Memory card
Take out the card first from the phone.
Format it using your computer's memory card reader.
Insert it back to the phone.
Go to Menu
Go to Extras
Go to Memory
Go Options
Select Format mem. card.

That should do it. You will be able to use your card again.
