NEVER run any motor with too much oil. You can blow the seals. Let some out to achieve the correct level. Also, verify that you are reading the dip stick correctly. Many motors you DON'T screw the dip stick in when takeing a reading. Just wipe it and set it in.

Typically they use a 10w30 oil in the engine and a non-detergent SAE30 oil in the pump portion.

If you are talking about the water-pump gear box only, the correct oil type is 30W NON-Detergent oil. "ONLY"

The engine will use standard 30W motor oil. The pump will use 30W non-detergent oil.

A loss of pressure on this type of washer is normally caused by failing water seals and check valves in the pump. You will need to replace both of these using a pump rebuild kit that will be available by contacting the manufacturer of your machine. The pump oil used will be 30W non-detergent.

The correct oil to use is going to be a 15w40*1, this is a special oil that is made by Karcher, any other oil is going to breakdown much faster and will cause the bearings and wobble plate to not be properly lubed. See link to purchase oil or read more.

Any 10/40 oil will do, but you have to run motorcycle 10/40. Car oil will not do, unless you are stranded,etc. Always replace your crush washer, or sealing washer. Prefill your new oil filter with the new oil. Start and let run for a minute, turn off and wait for a couple of minutes to get the correct oil level. Check the oil level when the bike is straight up.
