old PC was:
"Next to the power port there is a small button with an arrow counterclockwise.
That is the NOVO button." now GONE forever.. i guess. thank gawd.

page 46 in your manual covers, how to gain BIOS page 1.
the key is F1, there is no novo button on this modern pC with UEFI and TMP chip security,
RTM , it covers every button on the PC,
googled for you e580 manual and 1st hit was...... this.

Oddly, I did find a page offering recovery discs for such a system. Go figure you can find recovery discs but no manuals. You might try Lenovo support and see what they say. Sorry.

Below id=s the link to Lenovo's website that has all the drivers listed. It even has the bios update. You will have to figure out which driver to use, depending on the components installed in the Idea Pad. Good Luck and let me know if you need any help.

Try the above. I agree it needs a reinstallation.
