SOURCE: karcher pressure washer leaking oil

Usually electric pressure washers only have oil on the pump, so its very likely that you will find the problem there. I'd say check all the pump seals and if that doesnt solve the problem, you can check to see if all bolts are tight when you close the pump back.
If by any chance you are looking for a new machine and/or parts for your machine, log in to www.roncoshop.com where you will be able to find pretty much anything for your preassure washer.

Karcher electric pressure washer help starting

The test / reset buttons are for a Ground Fault Interrupter built into the cord / washer. This device will help prevent deadly electric shock in the event of a malfunction - it is the same technology used in "GFI" electrical outlets located in bathrooms, outdoors, basements, etc.

You should have this serviced - or replaced before using.

Good luck!

What is spill valve in karcher 502

Another name for bypass or unloader valve. This is a safety device for your pump head for when the pressure gets too great or water temp too hot they are pre set to dump water and prevent damage to the internal valves and seals hope this helps!

It's a Karcher presure washer K2.54, one and a half years old. Was working fine last time but when turned on now there is very little pressure through the hose and the water seems to be filling up inside...

this sounds like the seals may have been damaged inside the pump or that the water inlet/outlet could be damaged. If you take off the front cover (use a star bit screw driver) then run the pressure washer you will be able to see were it is leaking from and then you can get the right part to replace it.

I have a Karcher 3.49M purchased 8/2/09. Using the washer I inadvertently turned on after changing hoses, but forgot to turn water back on; this activation lasted only a couple of minutes before I realized...

Normally when you dry run a machine you damage the pump so it would probably need changing. The motor might be Ok but for you to fix it you will need to take it to a Karcher dealer/service center.

From experiance it sometimes can be more cost efficient to purchase a new Karcher machine and get the 12 month warranty than spending money on an older machine.

Karcher pressure washer keeps pulsing when not in use and has lost pressure when in use

This can happen if the head of the pressure pump has split. You may need a new head, and to stop this happening again, tie the rigger open with a zippy tie. The water will run all time now and automatically bleed any air form the system. When you want pressure, turn it on at the main switch. This will prevent hydraulic hammer, (when you pull the rigge)r, which is what causes the head to split.

Karcher power spray frost damage

I've found the most useful repair people for power washers are lawn mower repair techs. Give them a ring and see if they do house calls, they'll be your best bet.

Karcher k3.86 motor runs but has no pressure when trigger pulled, motor doesn't go faster.

Could be a pump, but most likely the unloader valve is stuck open. After replacing/repairing the valve, do the following to prevent it in the future: after finishing using it, unhook both hoses and pull the start cord on the engine several times to empty the water from the pump and valves. This is especially necessary when using hard water.

Engine keeps shutting down

Most Honda engines have an oil pressure switch that prevents engine damage due to low/no oil pressure. Make sure there is sufficient oil in the engine and that the wire is connected to the pressure switch.

Can't get the spray gun onto the hose from the washer...no manual

Your posting is incomplete, so I'm not quite sure what we're dealing with here.  I understand the machine and the high-pressure hose are Karcher - right?  Is the gun also a Karcher part?  If all are Karcher parts, they should fit unless the screw threads have been damaged.  If they are not all Karcher parts, they will not fit because Karcher connectors are different from almost all others.
Please post again if this doesn't help, giving as much detail as possible, and I'll see what else I can offer.
