Dean,
First set the engine rpm as company recommended.. i.e.to keep maintain hydraulic pump pressure in the system, and if a short arises in the valve solenoid , this makes to remain close of the hydraulic pump valve ports and this makes to regret flow of oil to hydraulic motors to the wheels..
To rectify this problem
Remove defected solenoid valve with new....
with regards,

Apparently you have a short in the starting circuit. I would try disconnecting the start wire from the solenoid, and see if it still blows fuse. If it does it's in the control circuit. If not it's the starter solenoid.
There should be an operator present switch under the seat, that sometimes short out from an accumulation of dirt and debris that get moist. There is also a neutral safety switch and/or relays.

SOURCE: Is it a big job to replace the brakes on a john Deere 250 skid steer

check with the service dealer
most skid steer loaders do not have brakes in the normal sense but have valves that lock the hydraulic fluid in the drive motors and so prevent them from turning making them brakes

I have a john deere z225 and it starts and my hours meter is not lit up but when I disengage parking break it dies,, if I move the arms it dies and if I engage PTO it dies, can anyone help?

t sounds like there may be an issue with the safety switches on your John Deere Z225 lawn mower. These safety switches are designed to prevent the engine from running if certain conditions are not met, such as if the parking brake is not engaged, the arms are not in the proper position, or the PTO is engaged.
Here are some things you can check:
  1. Check the parking brake switch to ensure that it is properly engaged. If the switch is faulty, it may not be registering that the parking brake is engaged and will cause the engine to die when you disengage the parking brake.
  2. Check the arm switches to make sure they are properly positioned. If the switches are faulty or out of position, they can cause the engine to die when you move the arms.
  3. Check the PTO switch to ensure that it is properly engaged. If the switch is faulty, it may not be registering that the PTO is engaged and will cause the engine to die when you engage the PTO.
  4. Check the wiring and connections for all the safety switches. Make sure they are not damaged or loose, as this can also cause the engine to die.
If you have checked all the safety switches and wiring and everything appears to be in working order, there may be a deeper electrical issue with the mower that will require further diagnosis

My John Deere dies after I disengage brake, what can cause this

There is a switch under the seat which kills the motor should you fall off. It is either faulty, has a wire disconnected, or is not engaging properly.

When releasing the park brake on my john deer skid steer the mofor dies

Pull the plug on this one as there is an electrical unit that is being affected by water. Have the washer checked out by an electrician and do not use it until it is declared safe.
