My Kettler Advance giro display says the automatic break is working but there is no tension when I paddle. How can I fix this please?

Get a Multimeter and check that you have output voltage from the power adapter.

Also make and reconnect the connections that are under the control panel. I wondered if the control had a back up battery, but there is no mention.

Try removing the key and reinsert it.

The KETTLER treadmill has an emergency stop mechanism for
your safety. Before starting your workout, fasten the cord of the
safety key to your clothing. If the treadmill has been shut down
by removing the safety key, restart it by reinserting the key. An
automatic restart of the treadmill belt does not occur. Further
instructions concerning the handling of the safety cut-out can be
found in the operating instructions for the training computer.

It's probably the bottom bracket bearing. Exercise bikes typically have really, really cheap bearings in them. I have the same problem on my Horizon M4 with a lot of bearing chatter when doing standing high resistance.

Go under the display board, and we the point from some pencil, introduce in the small orifice, reset and you will have the change km vs mls or viceversa.

E-2 FAULTS ARE PROBABLY DUE TO A FAULTY CONNECTION BETWEEN THE CONNECTING PLUGS-MINE WAS,I CHANGED A LEAD IN THE END AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM.PLEASE SEE MY POST ON THIS SITE ON THIS MATTER. MARK DAVIES

The tension adjusting mechanism in all intensive purposes has worn out and will need to be replaced. Since I don't know where it was purchased either in USA , Canada or the U.K.
