ResetTo reset your iPod:

  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
    Tip:
    • If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
    • If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

Got locked out of my laptop its asking for a password & i have never had one

The person who owned it before you has probably put a bios password in the computer locking you out. I strongly recommend you take it back to the pawn shop and get your money back, or the seller gets a hold of the customer to get the required information, because without it the laptop is useless to you.

I bought an LG GW300 from the pawn shop and I'm trying to reset the phone but it won't allow me as I need to enter the code which I do not know and also Dollar Dealers didn't give me one. So...

Now, on your LG GW300, Dial 1809#*500# and choose Factory reset. No code required and phone won't ask: "Are you sure?". All settings will be reset to default values, including the user code (0000 is the default code after)

Just bought a Eee PC 1000HA from a pawn shop, and when I charged it and turned it on, it goes to a bios screen that says at the bottom that the hard disk is locked. It ask's for user password or press ESC...

When buying things from a pawn shop, it is wise to check it out to see if it functions properly before you purchase it.
Hard disk passwords cannot be broken/hacked, and putting a new hard disk in the laptop may not work, this depends upon the BIOS password setup.
I suggest you try and return it and get a refund.

I bought gps at pond shop and it's asking me for pin?? what should i do?

Return the unit to the pawn shop. This is a PIN put in by the original user just in case it gets stolen. If the original user sold this to the pawn shop they would of removed the PIN or provided it to the pawn broker. If it was stolen there is nothing you can do but throw the unit out if the pawn broker will not help.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 200 and I just bought it from the pawn shop. It is locked...Can someone help me please and thank you.

I am not sure if this will work for a locked unit, but try, with unit OFF, pressing bottom right corner of the screen with your thumb. While still holding down on the screen with your thumb switch the power on and this MAY reset the unit and give you access to the unit. If this does not work call Garmin support at 800-800-1020 and they may be able to help. Good luck.
