What country are your in,we are USA
PB ended sales in USA in year 2000.
so there is no USA support, here.
only where you live is there support.
NO OS stated. 9 versions of windows.what is it?
it came with XP right, 2003 is XP, so is it still
that rotten dirty XP virus magnet? if yes it is doomed. your shop in town will not touch it.

so answering in GENERIC PC ways, I say...

Packard Bell EasyNote Ajax C3 (built 2003)
the real name is this, fully, 16 years old.
a non usa PC. for sure.
first off all PCs are slow, unless I made it(lol)
and is relative term,
I guess slow now but not slow when new. PC. yours.

slow, well what is slow, just the PC or is internet slow.?
do you understand what a bottle neck is.
in computers there are many. (or bad HDD,sick)
With XP it will always be slow its infected now and will be forever.
basically 2 things slow PC from new.
1: infected (you are)
2: hDD bad, sure it is after 16years. sure it is.
HDD will have bad sectors slowing the OS.
3: not cleaned CCcleaner free.
4: too ,may startup files, in MSconfig
5: and more lots more but XP sealed your fate DOOMed.

Need more memory

PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM SODIMMs. maximum memory is 2GB which would be 2x1GB sticks.
I would remove the cover on the bottom of your laptop and remove the memory installed to check the type and size.

My computer is working slowly. And got hang many times while running.I also have already scan my computer.

Hi

For some reason computer getting slower because of faulty driver installed, multiple driver with the same driver installed, faulty installed software.

I suggest you run your laptop on safe mode to correct the faulty drivers and it will automatically fix it and also run the disk defragment on your C drive. Just go to start menu, choose accessories, system tools, choose disk defragment and after it restart your computer again. It will run faster that before.

I have an IBM Thinkpad 1200 and its running slow, i need to change the CPU to a faster one. What CPU is available for it?

I think cpu changing is not wise in budgetry if really you need to make your device faster .
if really you want to make it faster just change the motherboard and cpu to gether but still its not resionable.
better to try and increese the ram and the use faster hard drive .
and run only the programs only required by disabling application on startup.

Running more slowly everyday

Try defragging it. There is a no-cost virus-free program called SmartDefrag that you can download. It is superb and is faster than using defrag from your computer.

Make laptop faster using a wordpad trick

I think you're referring to making your PC run faster using notepad (although wordpad does have it's benefits, it's unlikely that it could be utilized to make your laptop faster). To do this you would need to open NOTEPAD. Once notepad is opened, type this: mystring=(80000000)
Next you'll want to save this file as: speed up.vbs After that you'll need to open that file. If it's on your desktop just double click. If not, look in your documents then open it up. ***DISCLAIMER: this is not recommended if you're using your D800 for gaming. It has been known to cause it too heat up more than normal. Also, it may not speed your laptop up right away but it eventually works. DO NOT open it up over and over as this can cause it to work slowly as well. This is something that can be beneficial but you do so at your own risk. I hope this helps you. If so, please remember to vote.

Toshiba Satellite a70-s256 fan issues

Instead, turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power.
Remove the battery.
Purchase a can of compressed-air.
Give your computer a "blow-job", to remove all the dust that has accumulated inside your computer.
The dust has been acting as "insulation", forcing the fans to run faster, and with more noise.

Cooler computer -> quieter computer.
