My sony c905 says no network coverage but when i put my sim card to other phone it working.

looks like your phone is locked. where did you get your phone from? was your phone working with your sim card or some other network previously? try inserting the sim card if your phone already had a card in it. if it works with that sim and doesnt work with other sim then your phone is a locked one. you need to unlock it and use it with other sim card. you can unlock it using codes. you can get the codes from Unlocking4U.com else if other sim card too didnt work in your phone then your phone has a problem and do take it to a nearest service provider.

Yes You can get the Code to unlock the Mobile Phone,you need Network Unlock code means Get from here Theunlockspot and You need Security or password Unlock code means get from Service provider,Following the Instructions below and Unlock Sony Ericsson C905 from Network Lock.

Sony Ericsson C905 Unlocking Instructions Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Sony Ericsson C905 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Sony Ericsson C905 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Sony Ericsson C905 without any SIM Card,
2 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
3 - Press the button * twice,
4 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
5 - The message "Personalize with MNC2" will appear, (or you will have displayed an unlock menu, select the lock you want to unlock)
6 - Enter the Unlock Code.

If your Sony Ericsson C905 does not have a left arrow button/key(e.g. Sony Ericsson W950i) and on a few phones(not all) that have a "JOGDIAL" you must press the "down arrow" key/button instead of the "left arrow" key/button for step 2 & 4. We mean by "Down Arrow" to direct the Jogdial down! In the Sony Ericsson W950i and some other models, the down arrow button/key would be located on the side of the phone.

Ive tried a master reset and cleanin the phone inside and it keeps sayin on the screen no netw coverage and when you go to settings and search it finds no results. the phone is a sony erricsson c905

I'm going to suggest start with the basics. Check in the settings to see what Network coverage you are on. Usually it has an automatic setting, a manual settting, and a roaming setting. It should be on automatic.

Second suggestion is to run a PRL update to make sure your "tower software" is the most up to date. Although not likely, if the towers in your area have been updated and your phone has not it could lose signal.

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the sim card first because it might not be making good contact to the prongs. It's not the phone causing the ‘no network coverage’ issue, it's either the sim needs to be removed and wiped off with a soft cotton material and then reinserted or it's the network having problems itself. Also try the sim card in another phone. If it works, then the problem is with the handset. If the sim doesn't work in another handset then contact your network provider to get the sim replaced. If it is still under warranty you'll need to take it back where you purchased it from to get it repaired or replaced.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
