Hi Gill.
Check, Make sure the cables are connected. Try cleaning the laser and the DVD. Make sure the TV is on the correct input.
try swapping one of the sound cables to see if the yellow cables is in fact damaged.
1) Plug the DVD player in to the TV that it does work on. Make sure there is no disc in the player. Check the DVD players set up menu. Look in the Picture menu and change the output to "RGB" Move the player back to the TV/VHS Combi. Select the input that gives you RGB1.
2) Same as above, but this time change the Picture menu to PAL (or composite or Video....whatever is the other option name that isn't RGB or S-Video). Retest on the Combi, but this time you want AV1.
If these don't work then you might need to have a look in the TV manual about connecting external sources. It could be that because the combi has a recorder that it's trying to stop you from copying DVD to VHS. See if there's an input on the combi that bypases the recorder.

Target seems to handle the product line. You will have to contact their customer service center. Give them the model number and see how they can get you the information.
There is several complaints about the product line on a Google search. If you don't get results it wouldn't hurt to file a complaint on ripoffreport.com.
SOURCE: cant get the module
Hi, The A7 has 3 sound modes. With the unit on press the speaker button and on the screen it will say either "Headphone sound only" or "Speaker sound enabled". Pressing the speaker button will toggle these modes back and forth. If you don't hear any sound when it says "Speaker sound enabled " it may be that it was wired using the FM Modulator, which means it uses the car speakers. For them to work, turn on your radio and tune it to 87.9 or 88.3. Good Luck!
SOURCE: cant find headphone socket for rosen in-car dvd player
As far as i know, all Rosen in-car dvd players come with IR (infra-red) headphones so the sound is transmitted that way rather than using a lead from the headphones to the unit, therfore no sockets are neccessary!
Hope this helps....
