If power was lost likely a glitch in the unit, try to unplug it for a while and if no help something was damaged when power went off and came back on.

I have sony KDL55W900 TV. When we switch it off from remote control, after 10 minutes it switches the Foxtel unit off completely. When we power up Foxtel it goes thjrough full reset.

Does the Foxtel unit operate a cable box or convertor separately? You remote should be setup (Foxtel) to turn both units off at the same time. It sounds like the Foxtel unit is losing all of it's power when it should have constant power for standby.

My problem was really a solution. I was just trying to warn others using Arista boards to not filter their Foxtel signals through their boards. I guess when you get a surge, the Foxtel box burns out and you have to get Foxtel to come out and replace it.
