I service tunturi treadmills, although I haven't come across a teflon lubricated machine, it is very important with these machines you stick with the manufacturer specified lubricants.

Silicone with no additives makes a very poor lubricant and the carrier fluid may attack some plastics and rubber. You haven't given any brand or model designation so I would suggest you go to the manufacturer's website and if there is no guidance, email them.
