This is the best bypass method for the Dual XDVD8181. Althoug i am not sure if it works for any of the similar models b Dual. My guess it will.
1) Groun the emergency brake wire.I used the radios black groud wire.
2) Insert a DVD and let it play until you hear the sound.Copied DVDS will not work for this.
3) Press STOP on the remote TWICE.
4) Using the remote enter 26604 and press enter .If done correctly you should hear it beep and the video will be viewable.Good Luck.

SOURCE: i have white/brown and white/blue left on wiring
You can download the User Manual (including the wiring diagram), from http://www.dualav.com/mobilevideo/xdvd9101.php. Anyway the blue/white cable will be +12V, after the 9101 is switched on, and can be used to power a electronic antenna, a motorized antenna, a amp, etc. The white/brown cable can be connected to the reverse light and would automatically open the panel and switch to rear camera operation when the reverse gear is selected. The wires left on the factory harness can be anything. MAYBE the orange wire is the car-light and MAYBE the blue one powers up an antenna-amp. It should be possible to find out the function of these wires investigating the pinout of former conected equipment.
