Hi there,
Try connecting the laptop with the same VGA cable to a PC monitor. This will tell you if the problem is with the TV or the VGA output from your laptop.
Make sure there no bent/missing pins on the 15-pin VGA connector ans cable.

please try to re-install the software( driver) of Radeon 64mb 9550/X1050 secondary series maybe the software is crroupt, if still face the same problem then please contact to Vendour to replace this card, if this card is in warranty period.

It's likely one of two things. There are drive transistors on the CRT board which control the output to the guns, the one that controls the red gun may be open, also check this board for burned resistors. It could also be a bad picture tube although this is less likely. If it is the tube, replacements if available are fairly expensive.

Does this only show up in one connection IE: HD cable box, DVD player etc, If connected to a HD cable box a loss of red can mean a defective red component cable.
