You can purchase a copy of the Necchi 537L manual as either a PDF download or a printed manual here: https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-manual-necchi-537-l.aspx? . There are several online guides for threading Necchi machines. These may help. However I don't know how different the leather and lace 537 is from other Necchi machines. The manual will have the threading diagrams.

I hope this helps .

Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.

On necchi model 537L which buttons are for stitch length

It is generally the large knob on the right side about halfway between the top and bottom of the machine. The numbers should range from zero to 4 or 5. Zero is zero stitch length, five would be the largest stitch length.

Do you have a demonstration or diagram of how to thread and install bobbin for necchi 537L sewing machine?

Try this web site:

May not have your exact machine but one may be similar enough so you can thread your machine properly.

I need an instruction manual for the Necchi Model 537L. My 87 year old mother cannot find the manual. Also, could you tell me what that Model is worth? Thank you

You can purchase a copy of the manual for $10 Here. As for valuation, this is a bit more tricky. Most Necchi's (at least the collectibles) are Italian made. The 537L was made in Japan. There isn't a great demand for this machine nor is it considered highly collectible. You'd be hard pressed to sell it for enough to buy a new machine. If you use sewing machine's I'd suggest keeping it. It was a solid machine. Otherwise, check craigslist and see what other working used machines are going for. I've seen the 537L go for $50.
