I have an older model Crossman 760 bb/pellet gun. It no longer hold air when pumping. Is there somewhere that repairs these guns? It is an older gun and I hate to get rid of it.

SOURCE: reassebling crossman air gun model 760

First & foremost- Make sure it is unloaded and not charged(point in safe direction-not up in air) and pull trigger. Then: Here is access to the manual:

Safety cannot be over-emphasized! Treat all guns as loaded when handling around others.
Best wishes.

SOURCE: what is an older powermaster 760 bb/pellet gun

well just seeing it's old might make it worth about 50$ for a collector to buy, but to actually use it might be worth about 10-20$ the best thing to do is 1. put it up in a local newspaper for sale or 2. go to Gunbroker.com and put it up for auction. Personally I'd say gunbroker, you have no idea how much money people make on there for selling things like Redryders and older guns.

Is a Benjamin BB Air Rifle Model 3100 the same as a Crosman Model 3100?

not at all. the Benjamin has a pump handle like the rack of a shot gun below the barrel. the Crossman 3100 the barrel is what you **** the round in with. the Benjamin shoots pellets and bb's the Crosman only shoots bb's

My granddaughters 760 pump master will not hold air pressure. When you pump the handle it makes a funny noise such as rubbing the side of a ballon filled with air. The BB just falls out of the barrell. Can...

Hello, I'm not sure why you wrote under this other guns listing. The Crosman Phantom .177 Caliber Break Barrel Air Rifle is a single break action pump and it only shoots Pellets. also much nicer than the 760 pump master, but, it also costs more than 2x's as much.

as for your problem with the 760. sounds to me like it was not maintained well. If You have tried this already ( Crosman Pellgunoil® Air Gun Lubricating Oil ) and it did not work. You can assume that little BB gun is probably broken, the air compression chamber have popped a seal most likely.

if You haven't tried that, oiling the gun then I suggest doing that and maybe it's not too late. There really isn't a lot to be done on these cheaper models of BB guns.

if the BB gun is not years old, just purchased, and Amazon buy, or something else cool like you have a wal mart receipt for it or even if you don't have a receipt and you just want to exchange it. ( i will explain that in a minute ) then I suggest you try sending it back.

If You bought it at a store`, you don't have a receipt. do this if you feel you did nothing to deserve this broken gun.

go back to that store and buy another one, exactly like that one. with cash or card. save your receipt, take the gun home, get it out of the package and use it and take care of it according to the directions. in a day or two take the broken one and the box from the new one back to the store and tell them you want a refund and they will credit your card back Or if you paid cash they will give your cash back. This method of return eliminates the possible bad mood or cranky manager that COULD turn your request down because of no receipt.

This is a great answer to your problem isn't it? :O) Hope it helps.

I have an older Crossman BB gun marked "Crossman

Time to buy a new model. I had 2 of those with similar problems and couldn't find parts. Try the CO2 model 1088. I'm happy with mine. Spray the seals with silicone spray monthly or every 2 cartridges.
