How to insert batteries in a life gear path flashlight

It says it has rechargeable battery and can also be run on the mains and also AA batteries. The rechargeable batteries will be Nickel Metal Hydride and charged up by the crank..

The reviews are very mixed!

There are no resources on replacing the battery apart from saying 'Do not try to remove or replace the batteries'!

The Reviews on Amazon give some clues, but not a lot. My advice is Send it BACK!

please attempt to twist the top or the bottom of the flashlight off in order to open it and the batteries that you've mentioned. Otherwise, you can drop buy your local geeksquad/bestbuy to have a tech do the battery replacement for you.

It takes 9 x AA batteries. Looking at it, either the tail cap unscrews or it unscrews below the ON button and wording. The will be holder inside that slides out, three stacks of batteries, three in a layer.

sounds like the switch is intermittently contacting an needs cleaned , tightened ,or replaced
try some wd 40 in it .it wont hurt the electronics
or take the switch apart an clean

I'm not familiar with this particular torch but similar torches use an adaptor such as one depicted below to enable AAA batteries to be used where the primary battery is either a 18650 battery or two CR123 batteries in series. I hope this helps.

Unscrew the base counterclock wise until it comes off. Remove the old batteries, and insert the new batteries making sure that you insert both batteries positive (+) end in first. Replace base cap.

Hello. According to Gerber Blades, the correct way to remove and replace the battery would be to unscrew the end cap all the way. The battery will then fall away allowing for a new battery insertion. Hope this helps.

To put batteries in it you have to brake it... Its Disposable.
