Value is really what someone is willing to pay.

Necchi Sewing Machine Model 536FB eBay

Reviewing the recent prices found here, you may want to consider keeping the machine for your own use. It would be difficult to find a machine of similar quality on today's market. A lot of newer machines of less quality are being sold for double or triple these prices.

FIXYA doesn't give appraisals. That is not what FIXYA is for.

Suggestions include checking similar models for sale on the internet, including EBAY.COM and specialized sewing machine web sites.

SOURCE: necchi sewing machine

i repair a lot of sewing machines as a hobby .. the necchi is one of the better ones .. they are easy to use and work well .. i almost always dontate the repaired machines to places like "womens shelter" .. "home for troubled girls" or just give them to someone that has nothing or cant afford new machines ... it sometimes makes a difference in their life if someone helps them get started .. modern machines vary from really cheap junkers that somehow work to really expensive machines that do everything but are completely out of reach for many.. the old necchis are better than many new machines but no one knows that .. so typically they sell for only $20 to $50 ... but if you donate a working machine to someone it can help, then its worth it weight in gold ..

SOURCE: Sewing machine belt for necchi 524FB

Check with a sewing machine repair shop. Bring the old belt with you, if possible. Otherwise, be sure to have the make & model number with you.

How to thread the 525fa necchi sewing machine

You can buy a manual here. Probably worth buying if you're going to learn how to use your machine.

These videos may be helpful. Although not your specific model, but most machines thread similarly.

I need an instruction manual for the Necchi Model 537L. My 87 year old mother cannot find the manual. Also, could you tell me what that Model is worth? Thank you

You can purchase a copy of the manual for $10 Here. As for valuation, this is a bit more tricky. Most Necchi's (at least the collectibles) are Italian made. The 537L was made in Japan. There isn't a great demand for this machine nor is it considered highly collectible. You'd be hard pressed to sell it for enough to buy a new machine. If you use sewing machine's I'd suggest keeping it. It was a solid machine. Otherwise, check craigslist and see what other working used machines are going for. I've seen the 537L go for $50.

Bobbin case on my 524fb necchi has come apart

Almost all Necchi use a class 15 bobbin & bobbin case, a new case should cost around 7 to 10 dollars!
