My brother cs-6000i computer sewing machine shows a E6. I cleaned around the bobbin and checked the needle. I replaced the bent needle and it still does the same thing "E6". What will fix this?

Follow the instructions below if you receive the error message "E6"
1. Check if the machine rattles and stops as soon as the sewing starts
- Upper thread could be tangled or threaded incorrectly
- Check that the thread take-up lever is threaded

- Raise the presser foot to raise the needle to its highest position and re-thread the machine
2. Remove the bobbin and bobbin case
- Clean any lint or loose threads

- Install the bobbin case so that the projection on it aligns with the spring and install the bobbin into the bobbin case

3. The needle could be bent
- Check that the needle does not hit the needle plate
- Replace the needle if necessary
- Make sure the flat side is facing the back
If the problem persists, your machine may require service.
If the machine is in warranty, call Brother Customer Service at 1-877-Brother (1-877-276-8437) for warranty options.

Needle keeps breaking HELP!

Needle breaks
1.the needle is damaged
2.the needle is not correctly inserted
3.wrong size needle for the fabric
4.the wrong foot is attached
5.the needle clamp screw is loose
6. Top tension is too tight
7. Machine could be out of time

I suggest contact brother.com or a dealer about the needles , cause
I've checked on the internet and on the brother site about the needles and couldn't find any information.

I am haveing trouble with the top thread not sewing, the bottum tread come to the top; I have ajusted the theard tinshen , nothing works. [email protected]

you might check your needle to see if it's bent-roll on a flat surface to see if it roll correctly
if the needle makes a popping sound going into the fabric then the needle is blunt
check to see if the top thread is catching on the spool pin or the spool of thread it's self, where the little notch is at the holds the thread
I've had the thread to come off the thread take up lever several times
let me know if this helps you

What size needle for my brother pe-150

The size of the needle depends on the type of fabric you are sewing.

I have a brother pe- 150 and the bobbin doesnt catch

See if you may have thread wound up inside the bobbin hole. The hook needs to cross the needle hole when the needle bar starts up. Adjust needle bar to make up for it.

Problems

I had the same problem, but I then got a shorter bobbin. what is happening is that the bobbin is too tall and the tread is getting stuck in the bobbin. It helped me from trashing my machine.
